Work your legs, core and booty with BalléNess

Adult Ballet

Classes focus on the development of basic ballet skills with an emphasis on proper placement, alignment, strength, flexibility, balance, and vocabulary. Both barre and center work focus on preparations for turns, jumps, and leaps.

BalléNess Barre-Fitness

Where Ballet meets Fitness! This class is designed to give you that desired lengthened ballet body with toning and strengthening exercises. The barre-based workout will help you find muscles you didn’t even know that you have! This class creates lengthened muscles, stronger core, and increases endurance and flexibility. Don’t worry if you don’t have a ballet barre; most of our clients use kitchen counters or dining room chairs.

Gentle Flow Yoga

Gentle vinyasa flow yoga is a healing practice that allows students to reap the physical benefits of yoga, such as strength, flexibility, and pain relief, while also learning new ways to relieve stress and tension. In this style of yoga, students hold the asanas (poses) slightly longer than in a power flow class, and every class begins with a brief centering or pranayama (breathwork). Although final relaxation is an important closing to every yoga practice, students are welcome to vary from savasana (corpse pose) by using this time to practice an inversion, such as legs up the wall, or a hip opener, such as reclined butterfly. Gentle flow yoga is equally appropriate for athletes wishing to supplement a rigorous training schedule and for beginning yoga students. You may find it helpful to use a yoga block or strap during class.
