Megan Berryhill
, Founder and Artistic Director, Creator of BalléNess® Fitness Class

Megan has always known that she was born to share her passion of dance with others. From the first day she tapped into the dance studio, she knew she was meant to be a motivator and educator.  Raised in Central Pennsylvania, she trained in many styles of dance and continued on to perform in many venues within the Tri-State area of the United States.  She furthered her training at Denison University where she received two Bachelor’s Degrees: one in Dance and one in BioBlackWhitePsychology. She has attended Eglevsky’s Ballet Summer Intensive, performed at Regional Dance American/Northeast, attended the Capital Area School for the Arts, performed in Times Square, New York City and has previously modeled for the National Catalog Dance Distributor’s.  Her time living in New York City includes training at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, DANY Studios, NDW-NYC (National Dance Week – New York City), and working with modern dance company :pushing progress.  In addition to her training, Megan was on faculty teaching dance and fitness classes with American Youth Dance Theater, the King Centre for the Performing Arts, and FIT4LIFE NYC.

Additionally, Megan has taught and choreographed at many other facilities including Shenandoah University, Ohio City Youth Ballet, and Columbus City Ballet School to name a few.  She was the Assistant Director of Allegro School of the Performing Arts in Charles Town, West Virginia and she started a dance program called Tyme2Danz in Mechanicsburg, PA. She has performed and taught with the Ecole Du Danse de Lynne Williams Rouzier in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and taught the flagship BalléNess class at the U.S. Embassy in Haiti.

Her most recent work includes performing and teaching ballet and private lessons in Baku, Azerbaijan.

She encourages all to move, and tells everyone she meets that “anyone can dance!”megan

Megan is excited to continue her journey as an instructor and choreographer.  She hopes with BalléNess to be able to inspire students all over the world to have a diverse palette of dance techniques in their repertoire, to strive for strong technique, creativity, heightened awareness of the body and mind, and most importantly to have fun, be confident, and move your body!
